Thomas Gerlach, PE
Born and raised in Alaska, Tommy attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks where he graduated with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Aerospace Engineering and published a thesis on Microfluidics. After graduation, Tommy joined Taku Engineering in 2013. During his time at Taku Engineering, Tommy has supported a variety of projects all across the State of Alaska. Tommy has supported projects in various industries including oil and gas, mining, utilities, and marine facilities. His role in these projects include project manager, project engineer, design engineer, field engineer, and API 653 tank and 570 piping inspector.
Outside of the office Tommy enjoys all things Alaskan including hunting, fishing, backpacking, traveling the world, biking, and bouldering.
